Jack Maguire is one of the UKs most versatile violinists.
He is the lead violinist of Southern Pro Musica, conductor Jonathan Willcocks (www.southernpromusica.org). He is a former orchestra leader of the Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet , and recent leader of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra world famous fireworks concerts. For 13 years he led the Ron Goodwin Xmas concerts. He was the solo violinist for Margeret Barbieri's famous Royal Ballet Galas at Covent Garden, and a BBC recitalist. He holds an ARAM award. He was the Musician in Residence for the 2011 Bournemouth Arts Festival By The Sea.
"MAGIC OF THE VIOLIN" tours the UK featuring favourites such as Schindlers List, Meditation from Thais, Monti Czardas, Flight of the Bumble Bee, Paganini, and Strauss waltzes. He introduces the music, and tells stories. He gives concerts for the Mayor of Bournemouth's charities and Bournemouth Rotary.
He also has a Klezmer band, "MAZELTOV" and a string quartet "Stromenti" which can be found on www.stromenti.com
